1. Who we are
ExamKeeda (examkeeda.com) is a free practice website for Indian government exams, run by the ExamKeeda team. For this policy, we are the “Data Fiduciary” under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). You can reach us at hello@examkeeda.com.
2. What we collect, and what we don't
We don’t ask you to sign up, and there are no forms on the site. In particular, we do not collect your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, exam roll number or any identity document.
Stored only in your browser
To make tests work, the site saves the following in your browser’s local storage on your own device: your answers and timer for a test in progress (so a reload doesn’t lose them), your past results (scores and accuracy), and your language and theme choices. This data is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings; doing so removes your saved attempts.
Site analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies. Each visit is counted using a hash of the incoming request that Vercel discards after 24 hours, so visitors are not identified or tracked across websites. For each page view it records the page address, the referring site, an approximate location (country, region, city), and the device type, operating system and browser. We only see totals.
Server logs
Our website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical data needed to deliver pages and keep the service secure, such as your IP address, browser user-agent and the time of each request. This is governed by Vercel’s privacy policy.
If you email us
We keep your email address and message only to reply to you and to deal with your request.
4. How we use information
- To run the site: show pages, run tests and keep the service secure.
- To improve it: aggregated page-view counts tell us which exams and subjects to add next.
- To reply to you when you write to us.
6. How long we keep it
- Data in your browser stays until you clear it.
- Analytics are kept as aggregated counts; the per-visit hash is discarded after 24 hours.
- Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request, and then deleted.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct or erase it, and you can raise a grievance with us. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
Because we don’t collect identifying data, usually the only personal data we hold is an email you sent us. Write to hello@examkeeda.com. We aim to reply within 7 days and resolve requests within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Children
Many exam aspirants are under 18. ExamKeeda does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children, and needs no account. If you are under 18, please use the site with a parent or guardian’s knowledge, and don’t send us personal details by email without their involvement.
9. Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Our database is not reachable through Supabase’s public API, and only the site’s own servers read from it. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we hold to a minimum so there is little to lose.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top. Significant changes, such as adding accounts, cookies or advertising, will also be announced on the site before they take effect. See also our terms of use and disclaimer.
